The beauty of your vehicle is preserved by the ultra compact dimensions of the CY-RC50KU, which can be mounted discreetly on the rear license plate garnish, as well as on the rear spoiler or even above the rear door.
The compact 1/4" CCD camera offers high picture quality with a resolution of about 250,000 pixels. This provides a clear image with only about 1.5 lux of illumination to support parking under dim lighting conditions, such as at night, using only your car's tail lights.
The camera covers a wide area around the lower rear of your vehicle. This reduces blind spots by expanding your view beyond what is visible in the rear-view mirror, side mirrors and through the rear window.
When used with Panasonic's Strada car navigation system (CN-NVD905U) and in-dash LCD monitor/DVD receivers (CQ-VD7005U and CQ-VD6505U), the system can be set up so that the camera image will be automatically displayed on the monitor when you shift into reverse gear.
