AUDIO FEATURES: .
Maximum Output Power 50W x 4
Digital Amplifier
  • Digital Amplifier

  • An analog amp varies its voltage to control power amplification. In contrast, a digital amp controls power amplification by rapidy switching the current on and off to drive the speakers. The high efficiency of this "switching" approach promotes cooler operation, so higher power can be handled without increasing heatsink size. Panasonic uses digital amp technology with high-speed MOS-FET switching devices to achieve the difficult goal of fitting a 70W x 4 (max.) amp into a small 1DIN form factor. Panasonic's own feedback-processing circuitry minimizes any switching noise to assure true digital source reproduction with high sound quality.

MOS-FET Output Stage
  • MOS-FET Output Stage

  • MOS-FET's have outstanding characteristics for audio power amp applications. In particular, they produce pure signal output by minimizing crossover distortion during current-to-voltage conversion of the signal from the preamp stage. Benefits are apparent in an excellent high range S/N Ratio, reflecting minimal treble noise. The result is highly faithful sound reproduction with expressive musical detail.

SRS CS Automotive
  • SRS CS Automotive

  • This 3D sound reproduction technology is based on HRTF (Head Related Transfer Function) theory. It compensates the signal based on the way humans determine sound directionality according to frequency changes. this lets you experience a natural sound filed anywhere in the car, unlike artificial sound-field manipulation by methods such as time delay. TruBass and Focus functions are also provided to bring back the rich bass and sparkling treble tones that tend to be lost in compressed music formats like MP3 and WMA.

Sound Quality
  • Sound Quality

  • There are six preset modes (FLAT, POP, ROCK, VOCAL, JAZZ, FLAT). You can customize your settings for these (except FLAT) and save them for instant recall. (CQ-C1200 has four modes(FLAT, POP, ROCK, VOCAL) and is not customizable.) SQ7 (7-Band Sound Quality): You can adjust the level in each of seven frequency bands. SQ9 (9-Band Sound Quality): Center frequency and level are adjustable in each of ninebands. This lets you fine tune sound quality for each genre to suit your personal preferences and the acoustics of the car's interior.

SBC-SW (Super Bass Controlled Subwoofer)
  • SBC-SW (Super Bass Controlled Subwoofer)

  • Rear speakers can be used as a subwoofer exclusively for bass reproduction. Cutoff frequency as well as rear output level are adjustable so low-range characteristics can be tailored to the music. This also contributes to front soundstage imaging stability.

RADIO FEATURES: .
HD Radio™
  • HD Radio™

  • iBiquity Digital's HD Radio™ technology utilizes In-Band On-Channel (IBOC) Digital Audio Broadcasting to deliver new digital services simultaneously with the existing analog broadcast. The most significant advancement in radio broadcasting since the introduction of FM Stereo more than 50 years ago, this allows consumers to continue listening to the same local AM/FM stations they love but with the added services and benefits of HD Radio.

    Benefits:
         *  CD-Like Audio Quality
         *  FM-Like Broadcasts in AM
         *  Static-free and Crystal Clear Reception

Radio DSP
  • Radio DSP

  • By digitally converting and processing FM/AM broadcast signals, adjacent interference and multipath distortion is reduced. A radio's IF filter has the job of preventing neighboring broadcast frequencies from interfering with reception of your desired station. Panasonic's Radio DSP uses an advanced algorithm to perform this task with digital control. It maintains the optimum balance between noise suppression and sound quality by automatically adjusting the IF filter bandwidth in response to the variable interference you may encounter as you drive. When driving in cities and in the mountains, the radio picks up slightly delayed reflected signals in addition to the desired direct signal. This mixture, called multipath distortion, is heard as a harsh noise. Radio DSP uses a digital signal processing method to help remove this noise with high precision.
