CARD LINK

Thanks to the SD Memory card slot, you can use an SD memory card to save and transfer your images to a PC. Plus, you can even create your own images on the computer and transfer them back to the memory card in the camcorder. An SD memory card is even included with all Card Link models.

Allows you to connect your camcorder or digital camera to a compatible PC and transfer your recordings/images for viewing and editing.

Electronic Image Stabilization

Digital EIS compensates for unintentional hand and camcorder movement to help stabilize your recordings. This remarkable feature even reduces jitter when recording as a passenger in a car or while walking. And, with Dual D-EIS, you can even use EIS in the playback mode to help reduce jitter in previously recorded video.

PhotoShot Built-in Digital Still Camera

In addition to normal camcorder operation, select camcorders feature a PhotoShot Built-in Digital Still Camera. The still pictures taken while using this feature may be stored on an SD memory card. To transfer these still pictures to your computer for use in e-mail or printed documents, you can use the included PC connection cable. Or, simply remove the optional memory card from the camcorder, place the card into a PC adaptor for SD card or an SD USB Reader/Writer. You can even use these still images to create your own slide show by recording them to the videotape in the camcorder.

Picture-in-Picture

This feature allows you to insert a previously taken digital still image into the video you're recording. The still image is taken using the PhotoShot feature and appears on the right side of the video you're recording. The video and miniaturized still shot then appear together during playback.

Built-in SD Drive

Thanks to the SD memory card slot, on select models, you can actually use your camcorder as an external SD storage drive. Using the included USB cable, you can transfer photos, data files or even motion images back and forth between the camcorder and your PC.

MagicVu IR Filter

This amazing feature allows you to record in total darkness with incredible detail. With the use of infrared technology, you can record objects in total darkness up to approximately 10 feet away. Images record in your choice of black and white, blue or green.

MagicPix Images

This feature is a great way to record full-color video or still images even in low light settings. Now you can capture priceless memories like a sleeping baby or a moonlit vacation night.

All Panasonic Digital PalmcorderŽ Camcorders have the ability to record video in wide screen mode, giving you a 16:9 aspect ratio that's the same as a movie screen. When played back on a television the result is dramatic looking cinema-like movies at home.

Lessens glare, providing colors that are more cinema-like, and picture resolution that is gentler to the eyes. It also improves the visibility of details in dark scenes by automatically adjusting picture contrast, and helps to suppress color smearing as well.
