On select models, you can add date and time stamp to a picture by using the "Text Stamp" feature. Refer to the operating manual to see if the feature is available on your model camera.

Yes, connect the provided USB cable from the camera to the Mac. The Mac will automatically load the appropriate driver and “NO NAME” or “LUMIX” drive will appear on the desktop and iPhoto may automatically open.

Macro Mode is the proper mode for taking close-up pictures, as this will allow it to focus properly on close objects.

Date and time can be printed on the picture by using the Date Stamp or Text Stamp feature within the camera.
