Swedish

Swedish massage refers to a collection of techniques designed primarily to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and gently rubbing in the same direction as the flow of the blood returning to the heart. When simulating Swedish-style massage, the Swede-Atsu chair uses four rollers, or heads, in order to replicate the feeling of the palms of a masseurs hands. This delicate style of massage stimulates the skin and nervous system.

Kneading

Loosen up with a deep kneading massage that stimulates acupoints and increases energy flow. Eases soreness and works out the "knots."

Compression

Firmer rubbing motion across the back.

Tapping

This feature creates the sensation of hands rapidly tapping on your back muscles, giving you an invigorated and revitalized feeling.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is considered a "healing art" that uses strong deep tissue pressure and stretching to promote health and spiritual well-being. It is a firm style of massage that includes squeezing and finger pressure. The perfect remedy for when you are feeling a little stiff.

Float Mechanism

Simulates the movements of a rotating wrist for an amazingly life-like massage.

Intensity Control

Adjust the intensity of your massage using the controller. When intensity is increased, the massage heads come out further for stronger massage pressure. When intensity is decreased, the massage pads retract, giving you a delicate, gentler massage.

Auto Recline

Auto recline is controlled electronically to 170 degrees, allowing you to choose the position in which you're most comfortable while receiving your massage. The massage pressure can be varied by the reclining angle because body weight enhances the pressure applied at the acupoints.

Width Adjustment

The Swede-Atsu chair covers more points on the back, with an adjustable range that extends approximately 2-4" to either side of the spine.

When the massage feels particularly good, you can press the Focus Button to ensure that this same massage action repeats frequently during your programmed massage.
