(FHSS) Frequency Hopping Digital Spread Spectrum

This system randomly changes transmission frequency several times per second without causing cross-talk, enabling the use of multiple handsets. FHSS technology also enhances security due to the changing of frequencies.

Talking Caller ID

When a call comes in, the phone doesn't just let you see who is calling, it actually tells you who is calling. Using text-to-speech technology the caller's name is announced in between rings if name-and-number Caller ID information is available.

Call Waiting Caller ID

Can display the name and number of incoming callers, even if you're on another call.

Caller IQ™ Plus Compatible

Compatible with services which may be available from openLCR after registration with openLCR such as: information download, phone directory download, and low cost routing service.

Voice Enhancer

Helps clarify and improve sound reception creating a natural-sounding voice that is easy to hear and understand. The Panasonic Voice Enhancer Technology is able to simulate a band signal above and below the normal bandwidth limitations, achieving a sound which is close to the actual voice.

Light-Up Antenna with Ringer/Message Alert (handset)

The top of the antena on the handset will flash quickly to indicate an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know that you have a new message.

Digital Answering System

Messages are recorded on an advanced microchip for quiet operation and easy retrieval. The total recording time is fifteen minutes for most models.

Selectable Record Quality (High/Low)

The all digital answering system can be set to record in either high or low quality. With the unit set on "low", there up to 16 minutes of recording possible. With the unit set on "high", there up to 8 minutes available for messages.

Automatic Interrupt

The answering system automatically stops recording when you pick up the handset from the base unit. If you have the handset away from the base unit, it will also stop recording if you push "talk".

Voice Prompts & Time/Day Stamp

A voice synthesizer will prompt callers through the messaging system, and will stamp each incoming message with the time and day it was received.

Tone Remote (DTMF) Operation

When checking your messages from a touch tone phone, you can control the Greeting Message, All Message Playback and Individual Message Erase.

Tollsaver

When checking your messages from a remote location, the system will answer on the first ring if you have any new messages. If it doesn't, you can hang up to avoid possible toll charges.

Memo Recording

Instead of leaving a note you can record memos for family or friends.

Flash Memory

Panasonic answering systems store recorded messages in flash memory, so that they are unaffected by power failure or interruptions.

Navigator Key

Lets you easily control the handset volume and ringer level, as well as the phone directory & dialer, Caller ID Memory and other advanced functions, where applicable.

Reversible Handset Charging

Lets you place the handset in the base with the keypad and LCD (select models only) facing up or down. Charging occurs in either position.

Caller ID Memory and Dialer

Requires subscription to fee-based, caller ID phone company service(s).

Dual Keypads

Lets you dial from the base unit so you can make and answer calls without using the handset.

Phone Directory and Dialer Stations

Up to 50 names and telephone numbers (30 on certain models) can be stored and quickly accessed for dialing using the phone's navigator key.

Chain Dial

Search your phone book and dial a number you previously programmed during a phone call. This feature can be useful for those who frequently use "calling cards".

Phone Directory Sharing

Once you have programmed all your names and phone numbers into one of your handsets you can then share that directory with any other handset in the system.

Handset Locator

To locate a misplaced handset, simply touch a button on the base unit and the handset will ring.

Voice Paging (Base Unit to all Handsets)

Simultaneously page all handsets, in the system, by speaking through the base unit.

Ringer Melody Download

Requires registration to Caller IQ services from openLCR. Certain services require a monthly fee. See dealer for details. Applicable fees apply when using the Ringer Melody Download.

You don't have to fumble in the dark any more. Our lighted handset keypad allows for easy dialing in darkened rooms.
