- Download this zip file (TXFSD03GSER.zip)
- Unzip the file and save it to your SD card (over 16MB is needed)
NOTE: When unzipping the file, make sure to extract "All files" with "User folder names" - Confirm that there is a folder named "PRIVATE" and a file named "SDIT.SDI" on the SD card.
- Remove the SD card from your computer.
- Unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
- Insert the SD card into the SD card slot located at the back, which says "SERVICE ONLY"
NOTE: Check the direction of the card when inserting. See below. | |  | Instructions
 | | - Plug the unit into wall outlet, and turn ON the unit.
- Wait until the unit is turned ON. (It might take more than a minute to turn ON). When unit turns ON, wait for and confirm the screen below.
Press "OK" to start the firmware upgrade to begin.
NOTE: DO NOT TURN OFF THE UNIT UNTIL UPGRADE IS COMPLETED!
- When the firmware copy is completed, the following screen will appear.
Follow the instruction on the screen.
- At this point, the firmware upgrade to your unit has been completed.
- Run "AUTO SCAN" to re-program the channels on the unit.
If the channels are not programmed after the firmware upgrade, your unit might not capture a channel correctly.
Please refer to your Owner's Manual page 4 for AUTO SCAN procedure. | | |
