1. What should I do if the power indicator is blinking?
If the power indicator is blinking on the front of the VIERA, turn off the TV and then unplug the power cable from the current power source. Try a different electrical outlet. Also, remove the power cable from the rear of the TV and plug it back it in (the power cable tab is inserted correctly when you hear a click).

2. How do I remove the black bars from the top and bottom of the picture?
To remove the black bars from the top and bottom, press the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the remote. The option available to remove the horizontal bars is Zoom.

3. How do I remove the black bars from the left and right of the picture?
To remove the black bars from the left and right side, press the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the remote. The options available to remove the vertical bars are H-Fill, Just, and Zoom.

4. Do I need to purchase a digital tuner?
If you use an antenna, indoor or outdoor, to receive over-the-air broadcasting and your TV does not have a built-in digital tuner, then you will need to purchase digital converter box.

5. Does my TV have a built-in digital tuner?
Plasma models will have a digital tuner except for the following models: TH37PA20, TH42PA20, TH42PA25, TH42PM50, and TH50PM50
