PANASONIC ANNOUNCES NEW AUTHORIZED RESELLER PROGRAM
Enhanced Program and Increased Channel Support Will Help Reseller Partners Boost Sales
Secaucus, NJ, October 18, 2012 – Panasonic, a leader in delivering technology solutions for government, enterprise and SMB markets, today announced its new Panasonic Authorized Reseller Program. It is the first cross-product category, comprehensive program at Panasonic System Communications Company of North America and was formed with the objective of providing a competitive advantage to loyal and high-performing resellers of the company’s vast portfolio of B2B product solutions. The new program creates alignment between the Panasonic sales force and its channel community, provides a consistent program experience for all authorized resellers, and offers valuable incentives relevant to each type of partner, product and addressable market. The program also helps promote top performing resellers to the end-user market.

In April, Panasonic underwent an organizational change in North America which created a new B2B solutions company, Panasonic System Communications Company of North America. The new company’s portfolio contains a diverse set of solutions, including unified business communications, mobile computing, security and surveillance, retail point-of-sale, office productivity, high definition visual conferencing, visual communications (professional projectors, displays, digital signage) and HD and 3D video production, intended for a wide array of end users and applications.
Additionally, Panasonic grew its channel sales, marketing and support organization by approximately 20 percent to better serve the channel community. This increased personnel support, combined with the new program, demonstrates Panasonic’s continued commitment to its channel partners.
As the program is rolled out in the coming months, resellers will enjoy new program benefits including a new Panasonic System Communications Company of North America Partner Portal, containing all technology, solutions, and program information across the entire product portfolio. Additionally, resellers will receive medal levels, which will qualify them for unique marketing opportunities. A reseller’s medal level will equate to positioning, requirements and incentives. Resellers will also benefit from consolidated operations and greater cross-product support to help them sell technologies and solutions – all derived from the formation of one Panasonic B2B company.
