Panasonic Participating in Annual American Telemedicine Association Conference
Company expanding engagement in the healthcare sector;
Planning underway to host the Innovation HealthJam on June 17-19
NEWARK, NJ (MAY 15, 2014) – As part of its continuing business transformation, Panasonic Corporation of North America is taking steps to demonstrate the kinds of solutions it can bring to the healthcare sector.
As a member of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), Panasonic is exhibiting at the upcoming ATA Conference taking place May 17-20 in Baltimore. The annual conference is the premier healthcare product showcase for telemedicine, telehealth and mobile health technologies, bringing together more than 6,000 healthcare professionals and leading telemedicine programs.
Changes in care delivery, driven by advances in technology, are shifting industry focus towards wellness, prevention, and patient-centric care. Panasonic is responding to the evolution of traditional models by mapping its technological expertise to products and services aimed at reducing preventable hospital readmissions and unnecessary office visits, delivering better care coordination among providers and empowering individuals with easier access to personal health information.
Exhibiting in booth #1720, Panasonic’s presence will showcase a customized tablet-based application developed to demonstrate how its innovative technologies can help revolutionize the delivery of services within the healthcare industry.

Scheduled for June 17-19, the event is free and is open to healthcare providers, health technology companies, universities, government agencies, patient advocates, trade associations and passionate stakeholders.
