1. Where are the images stored on my iPalm digital camera?
On removable memory cards. Panasonic iPalm Digital Cameras are equipped
with an SD Card Slot which allows the camera to store images on EITHER an
MultiMediaCard (MMC) or an SD Memory Card. Simply insert an MMC or SD Card
into the camera, take pictures until the card is full, then remove it or
replace it with a fresh card. You can selectively erase any or all of the
images from the either the MultiMediaCard or the SD Memory Card and reuse it.

Panasonic iPalm cameras use a 3.3 mega pixel CCD that produces sharp, clear images
in an incredible 2,048 x 1,536 pixels in SuperFine, Fine and Tiff modes, to produce

Since iPalm cameras are equipped with an SD Card Slot, they can store images on either
a MultiMediaCard or SD Memory Cards. SD is a new copyright protected recording media
format that allows for the quick, easy exchange of images, music and data among SD
compatible products - all on a card the size of a postage stamp. Both the PV-DC3000-A
and PV-DC3010 come with an SD Memory card.

Just connect the iPalm digital camera to your PC via the included USB cable and push the
"PAGE" or "ALL" button on the camera. The installed driver software will automatically boot

- Easy Mail Attachment*
Using the Easy Mail Attachment feature, you can attach images to an e-mail message. Simply
push the "MAIL" and shutter button on your iPalm Digital Still Camera. The installed driver
software will automatically boot up, transfer images to your PC, open a "SEND" mail file,
and attach your image.
- USB Port
The camera comes equipped with a USB port so you can transfer images to and from your camera.
- Motion Image Recording with Audio
The PV-DC3000 is capable of recording up to 12 seconds of motion images with audio using the

The shutter speeds are as follows:
1/30 - 1/1,000 in AUTO MODE
1/4 - 1/1,000 in SLOW SHUTTER MODE

5. What is the focusing range for the iPalm digital cameras?
12 cm to infinity.
6. What is the lens range for the iPalm digital cameras?
On a 35mm basis, the lens range is 32-64mm.
7. What computers can I use with my iPalm digital camera?

Macintosh® with USB port and Mac OS version 8.6, 9.0 or 9.04 or later is required to operate this camera.
8. What type of batteries can I use with my iPalm digital camera?
The iPalm will accept most AA batteries including Alkaline, Nickel Cadmium, and Nickel Metal Hydride batteries.
The PV-DC3000-A comes with AA Alkaline batteries, while the PV-DC3010 comes with Rechargeable Ni-MH batteries and a charger.
9. What are the weight and dimensions of the iPalm digital cameras?

10. What is the DPOF Print Mark Function?
The DPOF Print Mark Function allows you to sort through a memory card or disk and select the images you want
to print by electronically marking them. You can then print the marked images on any DPOF compatible printer by
hitting the AUTO PRINT button.
11. Will pictures be lost if the battery is removed?
No. The pictures will be retained on the removable media.
12. After one minute the LCD screen turns black. Is there something wrong with the camera?
No. Panasonic iPalm cameras have a POWER DOWN feature to conserve battery power. If there is over one minute
of inactivity, the LCD will power down to conserve the battery. Simply hit the SHTR button and the LCD will turn ON.
13. What type of editing software is included with iPalm digital cameras?
Both the PV-DC3000-A and PV-DC3010 come packed with ArcSoft® software which includes:

14. Can these cameras only be used with ArcSoft® software?
No. These cameras store images in a JPEG or TIFF file formats and can be used with any software package
that can open a JPEG or TIFF image.
15. What is the Digital Camera Advantage Program?
The Panasonic Digital Camera Advantage Program is a replacement program covering all Panasonic PalmCam
and iPalm Digital Still Cameras. It provides a toll-free help number and a free replacement* unit if your
original unit is entitled to service under the limited warranty.

16. What are the warranty terms for Panasonic iPalm digital cameras?
The limited warranty is one-year for parts, 90 days for labor (CCD is 6 months for parts, 90 days for labor).
