1. How many pictures can a Digital Camcorder store on an 8MB SD card?
An 8MB card stores up to 240 pictures in Normal mode, and 60 in Fine mode. You can also store pictures in both Normal and Fine modes, but this will reduce the maximum number of pictures that can be stored on your SD card.

2. Why am I getting a "Check Connections" error message when I try to connect the Palmcorder to the computer? What should I do?
This error message may occur if you have another device connected to your system, like a Palm Pilot. You might need to disable the program before transferring files to your PC.

Also, if another device was previously connected to the port that you are currently using for the Palmcorder, the computer may still think the device is connected.

3. Can a lens filter be added to a Palmcorder?
Yes.

4. Where can I get drivers for my Palmcorder to work with my computer's operating system?
Our Customer Support site has current drivers and software to help you use your products. Go to Panasonic Customer Support and search in the Drivers & Software section.

5. What does it mean if the dew detector light is on?
Generally, the dew detector light comes on to indicate that your product either has to adjust itself to a significant change in temperature or that the humidity is too high for it to operate properly.

6. How can I play a video recorded on a Palmcorder in a VCR without connecting the Palmcorder to the VCR?
Load the VHS-C tape into the playpak that came with your Palmcorder, and load the playpak into the VCR. Then play it as you would play a normal tape.

7. How do I connect a Palmcorder to a VCR for playback or dubbing?
Use the RCA cables that come with the Palmcorder to connect the Palmcorder from "A/V out" to "A/V in" on the VCR. Then change the VCR to line mode.

8. How do I connect a Palmcorder to a TV for direct playback?
Use the RCA cables that come with the Palmcorder to connect the Palmcorder from "A/V out" to "A/V in" on the TV.

9. Does the picture recorded on a VHS, VHS-C or Digital tape lose quality if the recording is done in LP or SLP?
Yes, there is definitely a loss of quality. When a picture is recorded at a slower speed, like LP or SLP, the picture will not be as clear or the resolution as sharp as if it was recorded at a higher speed, such as SP.
